# Account locked for too many login attempts

As a security measure, we'll lock your account for 30 minutes if there are more than 5 unsuccessful password attempts. If your account gets locked, come back about 30 minutes later and you'll be able to enter your email and password again! If you need to [reset your password](https://help.lumen5.com/en/article/how-can-i-reset-my-password-p6qax6/), you can do so by clicking on "Forgot password" at the sign in page.
