# Rendering your video

When you're creating a video in Lumen5, it remains as a video draft until you click the Download button. Video rendering is the process where we turn your project into an actual video file for you to download and share. Rendering your video also removes the watermarks that may be present on the media in our media library.

Once you're done working on your video, click the Download button in the top-right corner, and the system will begin producing your video.

Video rendering takes about 5-7 minutes on average. If you're subscribed to email notifications, an email will be sent to you once the video is ready for download. You'll also find all your videos in your [Lumen5 Dashboard](https://lumen5.com/dashboard/).
