# What is a video draft?

When you're creating a video in Lumen5, it remains as a draft until you click the Publish button. Video rendering is the process where we turn your video project into an actual video file.

Your drafts and rendered are videos are located on your [Dashboard](https://lumen5.com/dashboard/).
