What do I need to know about my annual or monthly subscription?
A Lumen5 subscription gives you access to our video creation tools, huge content library, video templates, and more — without any monthly limit.
At any subscription level, you can sign up for either a monthly or annual plan. Monthly and annual plans offer the same tools and features. The benefit to a monthly plan is the flexibility: You can adjust or modify your plan month-by-month as your needs change. An annual subscription is a one-year commitment, but comes at a significant discount.

Why was my Lumen5 subscription automatically renewed?
Our services are purchased on a subscription basis, either monthly or annually. We bill for each subscription period in advance — monthly users are billed monthly, annual users billed annually.
You can turn off automatic renewals at any time from the billing page of your account. Alternatively, if you just need a quick break, you can put a pause on your account. You can pause it for up to 3 months. You can set a pause from the billing page.
What happens when I downgrade my subscription?
Well, we’d be sorry to see you go. If we haven’t met the expectations you had for us, please reach out and tell us about your experience — we’ll be happy to try to help.
If you’re certain you want to downgrade, the cancellation will go into effect when the current billing cycle ends. Videos that you rendered as a paid user will remain unchanged — you will still be able to view, use, and download them without restriction.
You can still duplicate and edit existing videos, as well, though doing so will result in the application of Free Plan features, like Lumen5 branding, to the new drafts.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, and American Express. You can enter your details after choosing a plan on the pricing page, or update them later from the billing page of your account.
