How did you come up with the Lumen5 name?

Lumen is a unit of measurement for light, and light is part of the famous phrase "lights, camera, action!"

We chose the number 5 to reflect our goal of helping you create videos in under 5 minutes.

There are rumours that we picked a random name and a random letter because it was the only domain name available...

We can neither confirm nor deny such rumours.
