Transferring videos to your phone

This guide walks you through how to transfer your Lumen5 videos from your computer to your phone so you can post your videos on the go! There are a number of quick and easy ways to do this. Here are a few options for you to consider:

All phones and operating systems:

On all operating systems and devices, you can upload the video to Dropbox or Google Drive, then open the Dropbox or Google Drive on your phone and save it to your photos. You can use WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Slack, or another messaging app of your choice to send the video to yourself so you can save it on your phone. Alternatively, you can email the video to yourself (if it's not too big!) and save it from there.

Dropbox

Go to Dropbox.

Navigate to a Folder you want to save your videos

Choose Upload files

Upload all of the videos that make up your Story

Open Dropbox on your phone and save the files to your phone's gallery or camera roll.

Facebook Messenger

Open Facebook Messenger.

Start a new chat with yourself as the recipient.

Click on the icon to send an image or video.

Choose all of the videos that make up your Story.

Open Facebook Messenger on your phone, navigate to the chat, and download the videos to your phone's gallery or camera roll.

For Mac + iPhone users:

Select all of the videos that make up your Story and send them to your iPhone using Airdrop.

To learn more, see Apple's help documentation for using Airdrop.

Alternatively, send it to yourself with iMessage and save it on your phone.
