A copyright claim has been made against my video on YouTube

You have all the rights to use the tracks in our library, as they are copyright-free and commercially licensed. Social media sites use automated algorithms to detect copyright violations, and they are not fail-proof: on rare occasions, they flag videos by mistake. To dispute the claim for you, we can reach out to our contact at Storyblocks, which is the source for all our music tracks!

To dispute the claim, please provide the following to our support team via chat or email:

  • The screenshot of the copyright claim
  • The name of the claimant
  • The link of your video on YouTube
  • The name of the track

Once we receive that information, we can dispute the claim for you and have it removed.

YouTube is the most common platform where copyright claims occur. By registering your YouTube channel with Lumen5, we work with our media providers to automatically resolve most claims within 30 minutes, no action required on your part!
