Fixing pronunciation of words in an AI voiceover

This feature is best used for proper nouns, abbreviations, acronyms, and initialisms. If there is an audio anomaly in your video you should regenerate that snippet of the AI voiceover, rather than fixing the pronunciation.

Fixing pronunciation

Click on the word you'd like to change, and then click on the 3 dots next to the word Edit. Click on Fix pronunciation:

A modal appears that allows you to specify the correct pronunciation for the selected word. You can spell the pronunciation phonetically in the space provided to update the pronunciation. For this example with UNICEF, we've spelled it "yoonisef" to ensure that the AI voiceover reads the name correctly. To preview the new pronunciation, click on the play button next to the text bar:

You may need to try a different phonetic spelling to get the perfect pronunciation! To have the AI voiceover read each letter of an acronym separately, you can type the acronym in with dashes between each letter:

Once the pronunciation sounds good, click Apply! This will replace all instances of that word in your transcript with the new pronunciation.

Fixing pronunciation of a word will save that pronunciation and use it by default in all future videos. This pronunciation will be saved for your whole team if you are an Enterprise team user.

Editing or deleting a pronunciation input

You can find your pronunciation library in your account under Video settings:

Once there, you can click on the 3 dots next to any of the entries to edit or delete their pronunciations:
