How does Convert to video work?
When you click Convert to video inside the Story tab, our AI will parse your text, select the most relevant portions, and generate scenes for you based on that content. Typically you'll see around 7-10 scenes generated as a starting point.
If you don't want our AI to summarize your article, you can select the "Use every sentence in the story" from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the Story tab:

To use a script, word document, or other unpublished text, you can copy and paste the text directly into the Story tab. Once it’s there, you can reorder it, make edits, or delete sections that aren’t relevant to your video.
Once you’re happy with the text, press Convert to video. Our AI will read the text, generate scenes based on the key points, and choose some relevant media for your scenes from the article or our stock library.

You can create scenes from sentences in your story one of two ways:
You can click on the little green + icon beside a text block, and a new scene will be created!
Simply drag the text blocks you wish to add in. This is the same way you create a scene from a piece of media!Few readersEditing the Story Tab
The Story tab in our video creator is editable! You can shorten sentences, delete blocks of text you don't need, or write new sentences for your script. Just click into it, and type like you would with any text editor.
You can then easily turn any block of text into a new scene by clicking or dragging it to the storyboard- more about that here.Few readersImages from my blog post are not being pulled in
One common cause for not pulling in article media is if the images in the URL are not meeting the minimum size requirements.
Images on the web are often smaller and compressed, but videos require higher resolutions to avoid appearing pixelated or blurry. Lumen5 has a minimum size requirement of 360x360 for all images, so if the files from the article are below this threshold, they will not be pulled in.
As a fallback, you can always download the image from the page, and then upload it to LumeFew readersContent from my blog link is not being pulled properly
When entering an article link, it's possible that you may encounter an error message, content may be partially pulled, or perhaps none at all.
As a workaround, you can use the Copy & Paste option to put your content directly into Lumen5.
