  • Creating a new project
    To create a new project, just click on the + icon on the left toolbar, next to Projects: You’ll get a pop-up screen that asks you to name the project, and gives you the option to share it with a teammate (if you’re on an Enterprise plan): That’s it!   • What is a video draft?
    When you're creating a video in Lumen5, it remains as a draft until you click the Publish button. Video rendering is the process where we turn your video project into an actual video file. Your drafts and rendered are videos are located on your Dashboard.Few readers
  • Creating multiple workspaces
    Multiple workspaces are available for users with a Business or Enterprise plan. Workspaces are great for categorizing your videos into different buckets and are especially powerful if you're working on a larger team with multiple ongoing campaigns. Workspaces are also very useful when creating videos for multiple clients, as they allow you to separate your videos into different dashboards.  You can access the Workspaces page from your  Lumen5 Dashboard by cliFew readers
  • Deleting videos from your dashboard
    All of your drafts and completed videos can be found in your dashboard. This is also where you can delete them! To delete a video, click on the ... icon on a video and look for the delete button at the bottom: Deleted something by accident? You can restore from the trash area.Few readers
  • Edit or duplicate previously created videos
    All of your drafts and completed videos can be found in your Lumen5 Dashboard.  You can click on the "..." icon on each video to and choose "Make a Copy" to duplicate them. To edit your videos, you simply need to click on them.Few readers
  • Copying a video into a project
    While you can’t copy a video directly into a project, you can make a copy of a video and then move the copy into a different project! To do this, click on the 3 small dots on your video, then select “Make a copy”. Once the copy has been duplicated, you can click the 3 dots on the copy and then move it into a different project of your choice. More about moving videos here.Few readers

  • Renaming your videos
    All of your rendered and completed videos can be found in your  Lumen5 Dashboard. To rename your videos, click on the video name and start typing! You can change the name of a video when you're inside the creator the same way- just click on the name at the top and start typing.Few readers

  • Moving a video to a project
    To add a video to a new project, click on the 3 small dots in the corner of the video that you’d like to move, and then select Move to project. From there, you’ll see a list of all your projects and get to choose which project that video should go to. If it’s already in a project, that project will be listed in purple, with the other projects listed in black. You can also select “None” from this menu to have the project be unsorted. Any unsorted videos will appear in the All Videos section.Few readers
  • Projects vs. Workspaces
    Projects are another layer within workspaces. You still have access to all of your workspaces, but now you can create separate projects within each. Workspaces can be used to keep uploads, saved templates, and videos separate. Any of these elements that exist in one workspace will not be available in another workspace.   • Deleting a project
    To delete a project, click into the project on the left sidebar. Once you’re in the project view, click on the 3 dots next to the project name: From there, click on Delete. You’ll see a pop-up window asking you to confirm that you’d like to delete the project. Once you click Delete a second time, that project will be deleted!
